Deep into trees full of lush green, she has a hidden, vital dimension, subterranean and light at the same time. A microcosm in symbiosis with a childish female body.Almost floating, she acts with sensual moves, on the verge from drowning but suspended in a light thread of multiple layers.She plays, breathe, a vital rhythm in metamorphosis between nature and sense.

Beauty Beast | Installation

Exhibited for Wonder Room, Via Tortona 31, Milan.
Without beauty there’s no love. Even the Beauty’s tale, a volatile female with an uncorrupted adolescent body with a pop heart in the most harmful meaning of the word. Bella is afraid to love the Beast apart from herself, until he’s transformed into a hairless well-built prince. Beauty is a burden to bear if not for themselves at least for those who are watching.
Bella for a moment closes her eyes and let the other define beauty and try to catch it, but beauty or the thought of it is like an hologram, like a thought behind the retina, it’s almost unreal.

Maybe the beast it’s not other than what we fight everyday with, it’s time that passes, the impossibility to say “now” and the impossibility to say “forever”.
It’s something external that corrupts the body and slows down the replacements of parts and skin. It’s time that passes by. It’s the fight that Bella addresses against light and inside water, or maybe something that lay even deeper in us, it’s the water that’s inside us.
